After released a series of teased on Instagram October, 19. Finally, today, "Gorgeous" is made available on all digital-retailer platform.
Georgous is written by Swift along with her long time collaborator Max Martin and Shellback take credit as Co-writers and Producer. According to Time, Musically "Gorgeous" ia an experimental track with beat-forward electro-pop, steering clear of her previous country roots and eschewing her past detours into lite dubstep drops. Instead, her music references '80s and '90s sounds in its own style of minimalist rock-pop: a little bit punk, a little bit rap-sung, and plenty of catchy melody for good measure.
Lyrically, Swift always be one of the best songwriters of her generation, take her personal life and made it into a good poems. And this time is about a handsomely-good love interest she met randomly. “You’re so gorgeous, I can’t say anything to your face / ‘Cause look at your face / And I’m so furious at you for making me feel this way / But what can I say? You’re gorgeous,” she sings. Many of media and fans speculate that the lyrics is about her current english-boy friend, Joe. And according to fans who attended her Reputation secret session, Swift wants people to know the song is about Alwyn.
“Gorgeous” is the third track released from her upcoming sixth studio album, Reputation, which out November 10. She debuted the LP's lead single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” in late August followed by a promotional track titled “…Ready for It?” in early September.
